How to Pay Chinese Suppliers in RMB Directly via Payoneer


Modern international payments are becoming easier and more accessible. The Payoneer service allows businesses to pay for goods and services in China directly in RMB — to both corporate and personal bank accounts. There’s no longer any need to use intermediaries, pay extra fees, or deal with complex bank transfers.In this guide, we’ll show you how to quickly and securely pay a supplier in China through Payoneer.

Step 1: Create or Select a Recipient in Payoneer


Log in to your Payoneer account.

Go to the "Make a Payment" section.

Select "To a Bank Account".

If you’ve made transfers before, you’ll see a list of saved accounts.

If it’s your first time, click "Add New Recipient".


💡 Important: When adding a new recipient, you might be redirected between screens. Just keep clicking "+" to continue and access the bank account form.



Step 2: Add the Recipient’s Bank Account


In the "Withdraw to Bank Account" section, click "Add Account".

From the list of countries, select China.

For the currency, make sure to choose CNY (RMB).Choose the account type:

  • Business/Corporate – if paying a company

  • Individual/Personal – if paying a person


Click "Next" to access the input form for bank details.

To get accurate banking details from the Chinese supplier, switch Payoneer's interface to Chinese and take screenshots of the forms. Send them to the supplier — they’ll be able to fill in the required info easily and correctly.



Step 3: Enter Payment Details


Enter:

  • Recipient’s name

  • Payment purpose (e.g., manufacturer, agent, inspection service, etc.)

  • Phone number (if required)

On the next screen, input the banking details provided by your supplier.Once saved, you can make payments anytime without re-entering the details.



Step 4: Send the Payment


Select the sender account (e.g., USD).Choose the saved recipient bank account in CNY.Enter the amount:

  • In USD — the system will automatically calculate how much RMB the supplier will receive

  • Or in RMB — the system will convert it to USD

💡 You can add a payment reference, but it’s optional.
